Title Location Description
Business Banker Waukon or West Union Seeking an individual to work in our Waukon or West Union office as a Business Banker. The ideal candidate will have effective interpersonal skills to maintain and create good external and internal relationships. Responsibilities include promoting new business development of commercial and agricultural loans and performing financial analysis. Qualified candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in banking, finance or agriculture and 5 or more years of ag/lending experience.
Business Banking Assistant Lansing This full time position will provide support to the Business Banking team with the general administration and maintenance of their loan portfolio, provide assistance with the annual review process and updates of customer information as indicated in bank policies and procedures, and maintain loan files. This individual will need to understand all policies and procedures in the Credit Process Manual, HMDA data reporting requirements, and all pre-closing and post post-closing real estate processes and procedures in order to complete ongoing tasks within each area. This person will also assist loan customers with inquiries, payments, and loan payoffs or advances. It is anticipated that this person will have an Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Mortgage Loan Underwriter Lansing This position will be responsible for the processing and underwriting of loan applications to finance 1-4 family residential properties and preparation of loan packages for closing. This position is also responsible for post-closing reviews, organization of loan files, and transmittal of loan packages and sale to secondary market investors, as appropriate. In addition, this position will also be responsible assisting the loan processing department with preparing loans, supporting documents and disclosures in compliance of all laws and regulations, and inputting loans into the loan software system, and will provide support to the lending staff in all locations and assist with inquiries, payments, and loan payoffs or advances. Prior banking experience in mortgage underwriting or mortgage loan processing is preferred. It is anticipated the ideal candidate will have an Associate's degree and minimum of one year of related experience and/or training.
