Business Banking Assistant - Lansing

We have openings in both our Lansing and West Union offices for a Business Banking Assistant. This person will provide support to the Business Banking team with the general administration and maintenance of their loan portfolio, provide assistance with the annual review process and updates of customer information as indicated in bank policies and procedures, and maintain loan files. This individual will need to understand all policies and procedures in the Credit Process Manual, HMDA data reporting requirements, and all pre-closing and post post-closing real estate processes and procedures in order to complete ongoing tasks within each area. This person will also assist loan customers with inquiries, payments, and loan payoffs or advances. It is anticipated that this person will have an Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Deposit Operations Representative - Lansing

This position reconciles transactions to general ledger accounts, operates image processing to post customer transactions, provides internal and external customers with outstanding service and assists with accounts payable and purchasing. This position will also assist with electronic banking channels such as internet and mobile banking, ATM/Debit cards, ACH Origination, wire transfers and Bill Pay. Preferred candidates will have an Associates’ Degree or one to two years related experience and/or training.

Universal Banker - Cedar Rapids

This position will be responsible for maintaining and balancing a cash drawer and assisting customers with deposits, withdrawals, cashing checks, handling payments and coin/cash orders in a friendly and courteous manner. Additionally, this person will open and maintain retail and business account relationships. Requires attention to detail, prior cash handling experience and strong customer service skills. This position will also support the Business Banking team by maintaining loan files and providing administrative support.

Customer Service Representative/Agent (Part-Time) - Kerndt Brothers Insurance Agency, Lansing

This part-time position is responsible for assisting agents and customers with service requests, preparing quotes for other agents, executing clerical duties, and maintenance of electronic and paper files. In addition, it is expected this person will become licensed in Property & Casuality, Commercial Lines and Life Insurance within 120 days of hire. Once licensed, this person will be able to back up other agents to quote and sell insurance products to new and current customers. It is anticipated this position will work 20 to 24 hours per week.
