Client Service Assistant - Decorah
Are you a bright professional who is organized and able to work independently while also functioning as a financial planner’s right hand? This person will be responsible for the administrative functions for Kerndt Brothers Savings Bank Wealth Management financial planners. Responsibilities may vary but include: client correspondence, meeting preparation and follow-up, application processing, database management and commission tracking.
- Maintains a safe, professional, orderly and clean working environment, ensuring positive high quality customer service at all times.
- Prepares materials and information for client meetings; including but not limited to: preparing investment summaries and block charts outlining recommended changes, and having all necessary material and forms ready for the meetings.
- Processes applications by reviewing and filling in any missing information when they are received from the planner or from the client.
- Screens client telephone inquiries; helping to answer their questions or researching the appropriate answer or referring the inquiry to the financial planner.
- Answers incoming customer telephone calls in a courteous and professional manner.
- Delivers superior responsiveness in support of our client base’s inquiries.
- Communicates effectively any concerns to all applicable internal staff members.
- Responds and researches representative’s inquiries within a 24 hour period.
- Answers client inquiries and provides appropriate technical and/or product-related information and assistance with the requested transaction.
Qualified candidates must be a detail-oriented person and able to multi-task. Skilled at working in a paperless office environment is highly preferred. Must be passionately committed to serving and caring for other people. Must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously and operate successfully under deadlines. Must be able to follow directions and work independently Must be committed to excellence and high standards and possess excellent verbal, written, presentation and customer service skills.
Previous experience in the investment field is preferred, but not required. Software experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook is required.

Credit Analyst - Cedar Rapids
This position is responsible for analyzing and evaluating the financial standing of bank customers and prospective clients. This position will primarily work with commercial and agricultural credits to analyze financial statements, tax returns, projections, and other relevant information to evaluate the financial condition of individuals and businesses applying for credit with the bank. Works with the Chief Credit Officer to develop and compile monthly and quarterly reports for management and the Board of Directors. This position is also responsible for preparation of loan information for review and approval. Qualified candidates should possess strong skill sets in analytical and reasoning abilities, accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and oral and written communication.
Credit Analyst candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and one or more years of related experience or training.
