Part-Time Teller - Lansing
At Kerndt Brothers Savings Bank we’re looking for a friendly, detail-oriented Teller to join our team and help create a welcoming experience for every customer who walks through our doors.

This part-time Teller position is the face of the bank, assisting customers with everyday banking needs while building strong relationships. You will be responsible for:
- Maintaining and balancing a cash drawer, and assisting customers with deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, payments, and coin/cash orders in a friendly and courteous manner
- Answering questions and providing guidance on our products and services
- Identifying opportunities to refer customers to additional banking solutions
Skills We’re Looking For
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Basic math and computer proficiency
- Prior customer service or cash-handling experience is a plus, but not required
- A team player who thrives working as with others
It is anticipated this part-time position will approximately 20-30 hours a week.

Business Banker - Lansing
As a Business Banker, we are looking for candidates with effective interpersonal skills to maintain and create lasting relationships with customers and co-workers. This position will manage and develop commercial and agricultural credit relationships.
Responsibilities for this position include:
- Managing an existing portfolio
- Soliciting and promoting new business development opportunities from both existing customers and qualified prospects
- Performing financial analysis, by collecting necessary financial information from current and prospective borrowers to enable adequate analysis of the credit.
- Performing thorough underwriting of all new and existing credits in accordance with Bank policy and procedures and utilizing financial analysis software to aid in underwriting and credit decisioning.
- Working with Credit Analysts and other loan support personnel to thoroughly document and maintain credit files to meet Bank and Regulatory standards.
- Maintaining past due accounts at acceptable levels and collection of assigned credit relationships
- Maintaining accurate risk ratings for all assigned credit relationships as required by Bank policy. Pro-actively recommend changes to risk ratings as financial conditions of a credit relationship deem appropriate.
Qualified candidates will possess a bachelor’s degree in finance, banking, accounting, business, or a related field, along with five or more years of commercial and/or agricultural lending experience. Candidates with knowledge of and experience in the agricultural and dairy industries are strongly encouraged to apply.
